Cockroach Dreams and Daily Routines

I don’t know about you but, I am not a fan of creepy crawlies. I know, everything on Earth has a purpose. That doesn’t mean I want to dream of them!

A few weeks ago, I had one of those dreams. After the initial wtf and gross factor, I came to realize it was a pretty good dream. Picture this…

A small aquarium, completely empty, except one single, solitary COCKROACH! It looked at me. Almost glared. And, then…it threw a GLOWING CRYSTAL at me!

So wierd. I immediately woke up and made sure there weren’t any bugs in the bed. Whew! All clear. Just my Travel Companion, snoozing peacefully. There was no way I was falling back asleep after a dream like that. Time for some before the crack of dawn research!

Did you know that cockroaches in dreams can be a good thing? What?! Yes, they can symbolize uncleanliness and unwanted traits. But, they are also resilient survivors. In your dreams, they may bring a message of sucess through hard work.

An aquarium could mean a change of circumstances. Possibly financial gains. Hmm…I like where this is going…

The glowing crystal was intriguing. My name is Crystal (I don’t generally glow though 😂). I’m a pretty big fan of the colorful rocks. In a dream, they portray the same things I use them for — beauty, health and wellness.

Cool. But, this one was glowing! What in the world does that mean? Apparently, that is a sign of enlighhtenment! Sign me up! Couldn’t we all use a little of that?

Interesting little tidbits, but what was my dream telling me? After some introspection on my life the past few months, I believe that lovely little cockroach was reminding me to get back on track. Put the phone and social media down. Focus on Reiki and energy work.

So that is how I’m starting the new year.

On that note, I invite you to join me in Donna Eden’s 28 day Daily Energy Routine challenge. My personal skeptic (Traverl Companion) is even doing it!

I have done her 5-6 minute energy work routine sparadicly over the last few weeks. I look forward to the challenge of doing it every day. I’m also going to sit for a moment before, tune in to my body, and jot down how I’m feeling. I’m curious to see how it changes over the following days.

Please, join me! Leave a comment and tell me what you think. I’d love to hear! I’ll write another post in a week and share my outcomes.

Happy New Year! 2019 is going to be a year full of abundandnce and love.

💙💚💜

Have you been doing the Daily Energy Routine challenge with me? What do you think? Have you met the challenge of doing it every day?

I haven’t. We had a lazy, relaxing morning midweek and I totally spaced it. That’s ok! I did two the next day. I have found I struggle doing it in the morning. It’s easier for me to do at lunch time or in the evening.

As far as changes, I feel a bit more upbeat every day. A big thing for me is my congestion. I’ve had a stuffy nose since November. Two of the last seven days, it has been clear! I can feel the drainage when I start the Four Thumps. Here’s hoping for a healthy winter!

What have you noticed?

UPDATE: 1/22/19

Hello! There’s just under a week left of the DER challenge. How is it coming? I’m a few days behind. We spent three days on Fremont Street and I fell out of my non-routine routine. 🤣

I was a grumpy gal yesterday. We had been spoiled the last nine days with relatively nice weather and time to wander. Yesterday, it was time to roll north….into this…

I’m still working through that trauma from 20 years ago. Not a fan of winter roads. So…Little Ms. Debbie Downer yesterday. I went to bed last night with great intentions of being more myself today.

I was greeted with a beautiful morning. And, the blowing snow. Gotta just roll with it, right? Seat belt clicked. Headphones on. An hour of Self Reiki, followed by Day 19 of Donna Eden’s 28 day DER challenge. Currently, the roads are great and I feel soooooo much better. If weather hits, I will just turn on the Reiki and do some Crown Pulling. That seems to really calm me down. Maybe cuz it’s all in my head?!

I’d love to know how you feel after doing a quick DER. Leave a comment!
